Our Services

Comprehensive Oral Examination
Routine regular dental health check every 3-12 months, depending on the patients needs The old adage ‘prevention is better than cure’ is never more applicable than in dentistry. That is why we recommend regular dental checkups and hygiene visits which could be anything between 3-12 months depending upon your needs. Your dentist will recommend the most suitable interval for your next check-up. Our doctors at Dr Lall's Dental Specialities first make a note of your medical history with complete  understanding of your requirements. During the initial consultation your dentist will inspect the soft and hard tissue in your mouth. Thereafter we do complete oral examination using latest technology and over two decades of clinical experience. By inspecting the soft tissue, your dentist is looking for any abnormalities, halitosis (bad breath), signs of periodontal disease or mouth cancer. While inspecting your hard tissue (teeth) your dentist will be checking for dental decay, bite anomalies, seeing how your teeth can be improved functionally as well as how your smile can be enhanced aesthetically.
Full Mouth Radiographic (X-Ray) Evaluation
Full Mouth Radiographic Evaluation is prescribed if patient has multiple problems.During Oral Examination, we take necessary intra-oral photographs and x-rays showing the patients the extent of their dental problems.
Patient Education
Patient Education ts carried out using models & video demonstrations. After evaluation of the dental problem, we educate our patients about the dental treatment procedure using the simulated models and video demonstrations. We explain to the patient and his attendee the step by step treatment procedure.
Treatment Planning
Before we start any treatment, we give the patients the treatment plan so that patients are well informed about the number of sittings required and the cost to be incurred on the procedures which will be done in each sitting.
Treatment Planning for International Patients
For our international patients, we have an online consultation program. This enables them to get FREE consultation on various dental treatments we offer in India. They can email us their case details and can get a quick response from our clinic on Skype / Zoom / Whats App initially followed by face to face consultation(s) when they are present in India.
Fillings
At Dr Lall's Dental Specialties we use only tooth coloured material or gold. We don’t place silver fillings anymore, we have much better materials that protect and conserve teeth. This is because silver or amalgam fillings crack teeth and cause other issues.
Cleaning & Routine Hygiene Treatment
Teeth cleaning or dental hygiene (preventive treatment of a disease) is a procedure for the removal of tartar (mineralized plaque) that may develop even with careful brushing and flossing, especially in areas that are difficult to reach in routine tooth-brushing. Professional cleaning includes tooth scaling and tooth polishing and debridement if too much tartar has accumulated. It is essential for patients who have got implants done to undergo hygiene treatment every six months without fail for longevity of implants placed.
Night Gaurd
Patients complain of grinding or clenching their teeth while they are asleep and not being aware of it. The strong vertical forces of grinding causes muscle pain around the cheeks and jaw and can lead to chipped or flat teeth, which may become sensitive due to excessive wear, and can also cause your gums to recede. For that, you may need to wear a night-guard. This can also reduce any grinding noises you make at night. A night guard is generally a soft, thin, non-bulky, comfortable appliance which is a tough protective barrier between the upper and lower teeth during sleep to prevent contact, and reduce further damage (bruxism) and injury to the teeth, arches, lips, and gums.

Jaw Problems TMJ

Temporomandibular Joints

Grinding and clenching happens in an unconscious state, without people realising. Muscle overuse makes it bigger. Bigger chewing muscles could mean that you are grinding and/or clenching and this could lead to early teeth failure as well as joint problems.

Once your main chewing muscles are operating at more than optimal efficiency, the body remodels other muscles located around your temples, forehead, scalp and neck to work in unison. Now, all these muscles can act as a pulley system and work synergistically to increase forces to the teeth or to your spine causing various kinds of atypical pain especially around your ears, temples (side of the head)

Restorative Dentistry & Root Canal Treatment

When Do We Need A Filling? When our tooth gets damaged due to decay caused by bacteria, or fracture due to trauma a filling is required. The filling helps the tooth to get back to its normal form and function. If the filling is not done on time, it may lead to further break down of the tooth. By sealing areas where bacteria can enter, a filling also helps in preventing further decay.
How Does The Damage Occur? The many foods that we eat daily expose our teeth to materials and substances that have a negative impact on their overall health with time. One way to cut down on the damage caused is by making sure that you follow a regular brushing schedule. Brushing your teeth two times a day, for a minimum of three minutes is highly recommended. What to Expect At And After The Filling Appointment? On the day, the consulting doctor will perform a few tests to try and determine the extent of the damage. The dentist will then remove all the decay and place a filling. He may or may not anaesthize you depending on the extent of the damage and your preference. After your filling appointment, you should expect some sensitivity which should go away in a day or two. At Dr Lall's Dental Specialities, we offer some of the best quality dental fillings. Our team is highly trained in specialized techniques that make them perform your filling efficiently and professionally.
Nervous Patients
If you’re looking to get to the best dentist for nervous patients, then look no further. Dr Lall's Dental Specialties doctors are gentle and caring to all our patients and take their time with every procedure
Fillings
The aim of restorative dental treatment is to restore teeth to full health and functionality. Typically, teeth can be damaged by accident, decay or other problems. Treatment may involve the combination of root canal (endodontic) treatments, gum disease (periodontal) therapy and prosthodontic restoration. The final restorations may range from simple or complex fillings to crowns and bridges or removable dentures supported by either teeth or dental implants.

Wisdom Teeth Extraction

For some people, wisdom teeth may grow in smoothly - or not at all. For others, wisdom teeth show up late and cause problems. Wisdom teeth tend to grow in much later than other permanent teeth, usually during late adolescence or early adulthood. If there isn't enough room in your mouth for these new teeth or they erupt in a problematic way, you may experience infection, discomfort or other issues. In that case, there's a good chance a Dental Surgeon will recommend removing* some or all of your wisdom teeth. *Any surgical or invasive procedure carries risks. Before proceeding, you should seek an opinion from an appropriately qualified health practitioner.
When do Wisdom Teeth need removal?
While you usually have about 32 teeth in your mouth, sometimes your jaw can be too small to accommodate them all. If there’s not enough space for a wisdom tooth to come through properly, it may erupt at an angle. Before too long, it can start pushing against an adjacent tooth, causing pain and irritating the cheek and gums. The wisdom tooth will have become an impacted tooth. Impacted teeth can lead to gum infection, tooth decay, damage to other teeth and even jaw cysts. Sometimes lymph glands under the jaw become swollen and sore as a result of recurring infections. Extraction of the wisdom tooth or teeth may be the best solution.
Does removal happen with Local Anaesthetic or General Anaesthetic? This depends on your individual case. We at Dr Lall's Dental Specialities can explain your circumstances; work with you to understand the benefits, risks and costs of both. Local Anaesthetic(LA) If you and your dentist opt for LA, you need not fear of feeling any pain! The LA will numb all the necessary areas and you will only feel pressure when the removal begins. You will be fully alert and aware of your surroundings, so you can sit back, relax and enjoy watching a movie or TV show of your choice! If you are nervous, we can talk you through every step of the procedure as it occurring. General Anaesthetic(GA) If multiple wisdom teeth are to be extracted, having it under GA with a professional anaesthetist can be more comfortable for patients. GA is done in a hospital setting, generally for patients with a more complex medical history and more invasive surgery. Recovery time Your dental surgeon can explain instructions for recovery and what you can expect based on your procedure and circumstances. Wisdom teeth tend to be large, so you may need stitches after they're removed. Removal may cause swelling or some bleeding for the first few days, but painkillers, such as paracetamol or ibuprofen, can help alleviate the pain. Your dental surgeon will provide instructions; don't hesitate to ask for take-home information document that explains recovery instructions, or ask for our phone number you can call if you have questions post surgery.

Replacement of Missing Teeth

a) Crowns & Bridges
b) Removable Dentures
c) Dental Implants (Immediate or Delayed)
What is a dental implant? A dental implant serves as the replacement for the root portion of a missing natural tooth. It is machined from surgical grade titanium alloy to exacting specifications. We place the implant into jaw bone. After a period of time, the implant integrates with the bone and becomes a secure anchor for a replacement crown, fixed bridge, a removable partial or a complete denture. What Dental Implants can do?
  • Replace one or more teeth without affecting bordering teeth.
  • Support a bridge and eliminate the need for a removable partial denture.
  • Provide support for a denture, making it more secure and comfortable.
Who can have a dental implant? If you have missing teeth due to tooth decay or gum disease then you can go in for a dental implant. We will be able to discuss your individual clinical situation on your visit to DLDS. Dental implants will allow you to smile, eat and speak with confidence and comfort. For surgery, you will need to be of good general health and the remainder of your teeth will need to be healthy and free from tooth decay or gum disease. Any problems will need to be treated before surgery. Also, there needs to be enough bone in the jaw for implant surgery, so we may need to check for bone volume using a CT scan. There are bone grafting techniques available for borderline patients to increase the available bone. How much pain will I experience? Usually, mild to minimal pain is there. While you are undergoing treatment, you will receive local anaesthesia. You may have mild post-surgical soreness for up to 72 hours. An over-the-counter analgesic will alleviate the discomfort for most patients What will the appearance of my mouth look like during my treatment? During treatment, we will be able to provide you with a transitional prosthesis that will have the look and feel that you need during this period of healing. With our implants, it is often possible to have a fixed transitional tooth immediately after the placement of the implant How much time is required to have an implant placed? A single dental implant placement is usually completed in less than an hour as a procedure with local anaesthesia. The implant is then allowed to heal with the bone to form a solid unit. This usually takes 6 – 12 weeks in the lower jaw and 4 to 6 months in the upper jaw. During this time, the head of the implant usually remains hidden under your gum. Once the bone has fused to the implant crowns, bridges or dentures can be fitted. If you have poor quality bone and bone grafting procedures are necessary, the overall process can take up to 12 months or more. We will determine which surgical procedure is best for you. How much will dental implants cost me? The costs of dental implants vary depending upon the complexity of the procedure as you may require a graft, sinus lift or multiple implants. If you require multiple implant treatments, the cost per implant usually reduces. Usually, two consultation appointments are required prior to implant placement for which there is a fee, however, this fee is included in the total cost if you proceed with treatment. The fees are payable in stages over the course of the treatment. What if I smoke? Smoking can inhibit proper healing of an implant, however, this does not prevent smokers from having implants successfully placed and restored. You should speak to your dentist for more specific information relating to your dental needs and the effects of smoking. What are the advantages of Dental Implants over Dentures or Bridge? Dental implants integrate into the structure of your bone, they prevent the bone loss and gum recession that often accompany bridgework and dentures. Dental implants feel like your own teeth - No one will ever know that you have a replacement tooth. Tooth-saving Dental implants don’t sacrifice the quality of your adjacent teeth like a bridge does because neighboring teeth are not altered to support the implant. More of your own teeth are left untouched, a significant long-term benefit to your oral health! Dental implants allow you to once again speak and eat with comfort. They are secure and offer freedom from the irksome clicks and wobbles of dentures.

Snoring Problem / Sleep Apnoea

About 70% of people who regularly snore also have obstructive sleep apnoea (OSA). That is, soft tissue in the throat, including the tongue, collapses and falls against the back of the throat. This blocks the upper airway and air flow stops, or is greatly reduced. The classic picture of obstructive sleep apnoea includes episodes of snoring that begin soon after failing asleep. The snoring proceeds at a regular pace for a period of time often becoming louder and for some people is interrupted by a long silent period during which little or no breathing is taking place (apnoea). Symptoms that may be observed and experienced can include any of the following: loud snoring, disturbances in breathing, pauses in breathing (apnoea),waking not rested and unrefreshed in the morning, excessive daytime sleeping, depression and mood changes, poor judgement, mood swings, lethargy, sexual dysfunction.

Dental Cleaning and Hygiene Therapy

This plays a vital role in helping to keep your teeth and gums healthy by avoiding gum disease or by keeping this under tight control. Our cosmetic and aesthetic treatments include:
  • White cosmetic fillings
  • Veneers
  • Crowns
  • Bridges
  • Tooth whitening
  • Orthodontic treatment

  • Dental Implants
  • Dentures

However, the cost of medical tourism visa depends upon the country of origin. Dental diseases are on the rise all over the world. Irrespective of the country, dental cavity and periodontal diseases affect a majority of the population. These diseases affect both children and adults. The result of this is dental decay at a very early age, progressive gum disease, and severe periodontitis. This leads to teeth loss at a younger age. Worse, poor dental health can affect the overall health of a person. Bad dental health is even associated with heart disease. Oral health issues, misaligned teeth, loss of teeth, oral infection, tooth decay, and gum disease not only affects the patient’s physical health, it also has a deep psychological impact.
